An objective of the Miss Navajo Council Inc. is to promote the preservation of the Diné/Navajo language, culture, and tradition; more specifically, to advocate for the enduring qualities that identify Diné/Navajo women, as the foundation, strength, and keepers of cultural teachings, as established by White Shell Woman. Additionally, an invitation is extended to young girls and boys of all ages to participate in workshops to learn the language, culture, and traditions, to serve as a foundation of lifelong learning.
